Solidarity Partner 2025

Every year Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao chooses a charity partner, either an association or a local NGO, as part of our corporate social responsibility, with whom we carry out an awareness-raising campaign to raise funds for the cause they are supporting. This year, the cause we join is the fight for people affected by lupus, and we will do it hand in hand with:

Association of People Affected by Lupus

In 2025, we want to make our small contribution to this association whose main objective is to promote knowledge about the disease of Lupus, its causes and treatment, support those who suffer from it and their close environment, and drive new advances in diagnostic methods for early intervention.

What do they offer?

  • Individual and family care

    Provide welcome and support to those affected by the disease, as well as their families and close environment

  • Research into the causes and remedies for Lupus

  • Prevention and promotion of information about lupus

Over the course of the year, HGB will carry out a series of activities involving all the hotel staff with the aim of raising as much money as possible and donating it in full to the association. The actions that will be undertaken are:

  • A charity brunch to raise funds.

  • Placement of donation boxes in common areas of the hotel.

  • Solidarity dish (available at dinnertime in our restaurant every day of the week), of which we donate 15% of the profits.

  • Sale of badges at reception.

  • Small ad campaigns will be carried throughout the year out to raise awareness regarding the association and the disease.
